If you are a cybersquatter, why not stealing copyrighted material at the same time? This French guy shows how it works:
    http://nuxe.tel
    http://bouygues.tel
    http://rtl9.tel

If you are the trademark owner, you have many options:
1.) Buying the domain from the registrant at http://telfirst.com
2.) Filing an UDRP for a few hundred bucks to get the domain
3.) Filing a DMCA complaint to get the copyrighted material deleted
4.) Suing the domain owner at an ordinary court to solve the problem effectively

Any experienced domainer will tell you that cybersquatting a .tel is a complete waste of time (and the cybersquatter's money).

The reason for this is twofold:

    1. "Joe Public" has no real knowledge of the existence of .tel - so he won't be entering the trademarked .tel domain name into his browser.

    2. The chance of a Telnames single-page .tel domain being on the first page of Google (even with significant content) is very small - with no content it's zero !

If you check new registrations in the top left of http://www.dottel.net you will every so often see a trademarked .tel being registered by other than the trademark owner.

It won't benefit the cybersquatter at all - simply generate another (in the case of a Telnames .tel) £24.95, usually discounted to £14.95, in registration/renewal fees.

CYBERSQUATTING A .TEL IS SIMPLY ABSURD !

It cost 200 euros per year + vat, too expensive

Perhaps the domain owner has read this post. The mentioned domains look cleaner now.
