His leaving or working less on .tel could only be good for .tel IMO. He always reminded me of a political officer, just talk and no real substance or ideas of merit IMO.

At least he was smart enough to use a Telname for the Book, could you imagine an old .tel that looks as bad as Justin.tel for the book promotion? OUCH, now that would be a double disaster for sure!

With his Telname he'll be able to find out the bad SEO ability of .tel domains from Telnames.
It'll be a good lesson for him.

Lol! Nice one. He will find out pretty quickly that his .tel is SEO garbage unless he has lots of links pointing to it. But a .com would have been better. His site looks pretty good for a .tel I have to say. But the video of the large moving anus is a little off-putting.
It is a real indictment of Telnic that they didn't make these features available to the many investors with the other kind of .tel who are now dropping domains in bulk. What were they thinking? Or not!

I would recommend registering a .com instead.
By inserting lots of content you'll be able to reach good search engine positions for targeted keywords.
And .com isn't more expensive!

Your both so brilliant, so let's get this straight:
It's better to have a hundred people find an old .tel and laugh hysterically, then to have 10 people look at your Telname and buy your book.
GENIUSES! Ha Ha!

Looks pretty good.
No question of the ease in which to create a good looking simplified web presence with telnames.
The integrated handling of the pictures, background, logo, and image ad is particularly wonderful on iPhone and iPad apps. It's a critical component that simplifies the bringing together of a web presence with domain integrated.
Dilemma for those of us with developed pro.tel waiting on that integration.

@GoTel you make me laugh you are so thick. Like two planks.
@MikeSeaton yes agree with: not going to happen.
All pro .tel investors have been screwed with Telnames functions not available in CP. Which is why investors should have no faith whatsoever in anything Telnic say or do ever again. They deliberated screwed all pro .tel investors and they have no credibility whatsoever IMO. To shaft active customers like this is so unbelievable you have to pinch yourself to know you aren't dreaming it.
Not only did they screw their customers they also screwed the registries that sold .tels. Registries that had gone through a lot with the whole CP function process.
Personally I have never heard of a company setting out to destroy its own customer base before. And then to find out one of their executive turkeys has been writing what appears to be some crappy novel (IMO) while the company goes from bad to worse leaves me speechless honestly.

I agree with you 100 %.
Only one small correction:
Telnic is the registry for .tel domains.
When talking about registries you mean the registrars.

Justin's promo site at http://TheLuckParticle.tel does a good job BUT there is one improvement that could be made re the integration of the PayPal payment screen.
As it stands the book purchaser has to click "Terms and Conditions" to get instructions about how to provide their address for despatch and the dedication name/message.
So much slicker (and avoids the danger of someone not clicking the T&C) if this infofrmation could be entered as part of the PayPal form.
Do PayPal allow such a Free Text area to be presented as part of their payment form ?

One more suggestion:
Telnames need to stop their system using %20 as a display character for space in PDF URLs as shown below from the PDF link on http://TheLuckParticle.tel

I'm going to answer my own post queries (as far as using a debit or credit card for payment goes).
The Shipping Address is not displayed as an input field on the PayPal form since this is ticked to be the same as Billing Address - presumably this could be presented unticked if you wanted to ensure the buyer considered whether to enter this.
There is an "Add" link which when clicked on the PayPal form opens up a Free Text area entitled "Note to Seller" (max 255 characters).
If I was Justin I would get the buyer to use this for the Dedication Name/Message - so much easier than tying up seperate email correspondence with PayPal orders - especially if the book starts selling in any real quantity !

One message comes across LOUD & CLEAR from Justin's promo site at http://TheLuckParticle.tel
If you want to sell a new book - or any new product - you need to sell via as many established distribution channels as possible !
So WHY do Telnames REFUSE to let Telnic's 133 Registrars sell their single-page style of .tel ?
THERE IS A MARKETING LESSON HERE THAT TELNAMES COULD LEARN FROM JUSTIN HAYWARD !

Information for all people wondering why Justin K. Hayward has no time for Telnic in recent years anymore:
http://www.amazon.com/Justin-K.-Hayward/e/B00JGONLJ8
Justin Hayward has worked in the creative and marketing industry for nearly twenty years. This has included teaching Kate Moss to hum a traditional Japanese song for an advert for an iced, sugared milk tea drink in a can. It has also included writing speeches for the president of Sony Europe for the Rory Peck awards. And writing a Pantomime for the staff of Microsoft UK to perform in front of a mob of unruly tech media. More recently, he has been seen as a zombie in Cockneys vs Zombies, a priest in Still Life, and a product manager at DEMO Fall in San Diego.
Justin now lives in East Sussex with his wife and works in an internet technology company in London. He managed to graduate with a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Leeds, more years ago than he can care to remember.
