VERY TRUE - Henri Asseily was not only the Chief Technology Officer & Strategist for Telnic/Telnames and technical visionary for the whole Phase 2 concept of .tel (Dial/Email/Skype/etc by Name) he also wrote and updated the mobile phone apps.

AFAIK there's no-one doing that now - or if there is it will only be routine maintenance of Henri's code - rather than radical developments that take advantage of things like the new features in IOS 8.

I BET KASH IS NOT APPY WITH THIS SITUATION !

It looks like ex-CTO Henri Asseily has decided to omit his extensive and long-lived involvement with .tel from his "Profile" entry on http://Henri.tel - here it is now:

Can't blame the guy really - who wants to be associated with one of the BIGGEST AVOIDABLE FAILURES in the history of the internet ?

If only Telnic had listened to its customers, its software developers, its domain investors, its registrars, etc - BUT TELNIC ALWAYS KNOWS BEST, DON'T THEY ?

Will the last person to leave the .tel project please turn out the lights ?

But why did they keep using their .tels? Maybe just waiting for the drops.

That is very easy to explain:
As an insider at Telnic Justin Hayward could see early that .tel won't succeed.
Therefore he had to search for new activities for earning money after his time at Telnic.
