I've found this picture on BuyNow.tel:

    WHY .TEL ? Why-dot-tel-250

    Just think about it!

I hardly can imagine .tel won't become a success in the future!

Put like that .tel sounds an unbelievable bargain !

So why have millions not been registered in the first 3.5 years ?

NB. I do actually know the reasons why, as most on this forum do.

Should point out that the price is actually $23.37 (£14.95 converted by XE.com) if you want the only version of .tel currently being marketed (albeit in a low-key way) i.e. that supplied by http://www.Telnames.com

But still excellent value for money !

Indeed we know! Sometimes I'm wondering if Telnic know, too! At least we provided them all needed information!

    Question: What is .tel ?

Answer: Give someone money so that you can put your basic profile and contact information as online text.

Question: I can get this for free anywhere, is there a new and more popular directory where my .tel will be easily found, that is, the real a reason that I would spend money to display my information, even though other popular directories like Yellow Pages, Yelp, and Facebook are still free ?

    Answer: Er, uh, well, uh.

Question: Can I least get something good to go with my basic contact information, like a background picture, a video, a gallery ?

Answer: Uh, ok, you can now, if you get the right registrar, Telnames.

Hmmm, very few registrants, and easy to understand why !

    WHY .TEL ? Why-dot-tel-250

How does Yellow Pages, Yelp, and Facebook compare ?

    -All-inclusive, no hosting fees

    -No programmer required

-Ideal for any business or individual

-Local consumer awareness, without the need to spend additional advertising money that a .tel needs

-Excellent search results that are comparable or better than .tel results in major search engines

-Does not eliminate Yellow Pages, a major source of extremely valuable customer traffic

-You control your content here as well

-Best overall value at Free, Free, Free in 3 places instead of 1 like .tel

    -Central content & connections

Hmmm. It seems that .tel is going to have to do better than that to get millions of registrations, that's for sure !

I don't think advertising a worse value is going to get it done !
