Theme: How can voice and online models work together?
Tuesday 16 October
9.00
6. EIDQ innovation challenge
This is an opportunity for start-up businesses and organisations with new products/services
to "pitch" their innovative ideas to an audience of the key players in Europe.
The idea should be new, but tested and preferably with an example of a business case
study. It should be related to the EIDQ core business (for example, directory enquiries, call
centre activity, location based services, mobile commerce, data and information services)
and also the theme of the London Plenary Meeting which is: "How can voice and online
models work together?" The idea must be appropriate for the European market.
Entrants will give an 8 minute presentation to all the participants of the Plenary Meeting
followed by some searching questions from a small panel. Participants will then vote on the
innovation that they would most likely consider adopting in their own marketplace. The
winner will be presented with the EIDQ 2012 Innovation Challenge Award and details will
be published to all EIDQ members, on the EIDQ website and in a public press release.
Entrants:
1. Soleo Communications
2. adaffix
3. Volt Delta International
4. 192.com
5. Telnames
Panel:
David Stafford, EIDQ General Secretary (chair)
Hans van den Outenaar, Product Market Manager, KPN, EIDQ Business Strategy Group
Giuseppe Pampanini, Directory Assistance Director, Telecom Italia
