Off Topic How do I Stop Orange Texting Me?

Having got PAYG for an Orange Mobile Phone I cannot get them to stop texting me, they seem to be doing it all the time and its starting to drive me bonkers!

Every time I switch on the phone I seem to get a text from Orange about something or other.

You cannot reply to the Texts to tell them to Stop.

I Googled for help but no one seems to know the answer but I bet one of you guys do.

Hi Expert
It wouldn't let me send a text to that number! their 450 help line takes you round in circles and worst of all they appear to be charging me 12p for every one of those stupid text messages I don't want.

Looks like I might have to get a new Sim and start over

Loads of people are having this problem (google How do I stop Orange Texting me)

You are the only person who seems to have managed to find their email address.

So I've emailed them to Stop and see what happens.

If my phone wasn't locked, I would be off to Gif Gaff in a heartbeat.

If I was making money by sending out Texts that seem very hard to switch off, then the last thing I would want to do is to make that process any easier.

Thanks to the info you provided, I've sent them a message of my own Telling them to stop.

And if that doesn't happen, then I will start charging them!

Another problem of .tel: These companies are afraid of losing money if .tel would become a big success.
They don’t understand yet how they could generate new earnings with .tel. Nobody has explained it to them!
