List of the most accessed sites with .tel domain extension

@Tel - How did you generate this - Is there a facility within Alexa to do this for a specified extension ?

Interesting to note that only 3 sites (P1,P6,P18) in the Top 19 are English language sites.

Yes, China and Russia are the leading .tel countries.
There is no such report. It's all manual research.

@Mike - It will be interesting to see how your site ranks in Alexa.

I believe that the Alexa rating is very dependent (or maybe even entirely dependent) on web users who have installed the Alexa Toolbar visiting particular sites. Who in the world apart from SEO professionals would bother to install the toolbar?

Even Alexa on their own website say “Generally, traffic rankings of 100,000 and above should be regarded as rough estimates.”

There is talk on the web of people who have greatly boosted their Alexa ranking by visiting their own sites! Have you tried that yet?

Also although it is about 7 years old, Matt Cutts of Google has written about Alexa. See http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/thoughts-on-alexa-data/ The comments after Matt’s article make interesting reading. I don’t think there is a single one praising Alexa. I like the comment that says “Alexa is like horoscopes… Kinda fun to look at, but completely useless.”
