    http://tom-cruise.hollywood.celebrity.tel - for example - is a TERRIBLE ADVERT FOR .TEL !

    Whoever heard of a "Celebrity" web page without even a picture of the celebrity ?

    TELNIC - sell this domain or transfer it to Telnames and populate it with images - it's just an embarrassment as it is !

    Since Telnic kept the most countries for themselves, only few guys have been lucky. The following countries / GEOs have been registered by others: africa.tel, america.tel, europe.tel, greatbritain.tel, korea.tel, northamerica.tel, northkorea.tel, southamerica.tel, southkorea.tel, usa.tel

    Telnic/Telnames have seen the light and produced a much more attractive actively marketed version of .tel as shown by this link

    but then DENIED ACCESS TO IT for its

    122-strong retail outlets (ie. Telnic registrars).

    You don't need a Harvard business degree to realise how crazy this is - as I've asked before "Do Telnic have a death wish ?".

    If not, then why are they acting as if they have (rhetorical question) ?

    Well telnic is forced to keep these domains inactive! ALL tld-domains, e.g. com.tel, de.tel, tv.tel, etc. as well as official country names are NOT allowed by ICANN to be registered as .tel domains.
