GOWEX, in partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), has launched We2, the new Social Wi-Fi network, with more than 500 pioneering merchants subscribed throughout New York City.
We2 is the next generation GOWEX Wi-Fi solution, building Smart Citizens® on top of the company’s existing Smart Cities® worldwide. We2 Social Wi-Fi includes the NetVertiser device and the We2 mobile merchant application. Together they allow businesses to provide secure Wi-Fi, create geolocated ads and promotions, message directly with customers and review real-time business insights. On the customer side, a We2 mobile app for individuals will let users enjoy free in-store Wi-Fi, frictionless roaming at hotspots across the city, and great social features, like the ability to see and interact with other people connected to the We2 network.
