London Olympics 2012 Empty London Olympics 2012

    In another thread Mike asked

What happened at the London 2012 Olympics regarding .tel ?

    ZILCH - NADA - NOTHING - such a HUGE OPPORTUNITY LOST !

Well the International Olympic Committee registered
http://london2012.tel/  but it looks as if they never used it.

Guess we are now about two years too late to exploit this opportunity  !!!!

That opportunity was discussed here: http://www.teltalk.org/t226-only-3-more-weeks-until-the-biggest-event-this-year

The main problem is that end users don't use their .tels - even if they own one.

Telnic should do everything to convince .tel domain owners to use them, especially:

    • Television shows
    • Gaming shows
    • Television shopping centers
    • Call centers
    • Customer support units of large companies
    • Phone service operators
    • Etc.

That would create awareness. But Telnic doesn't maintain relationships to potential important customers.

Instead Telnic doesn't like having contact to customers at all!
