There are two types of .tel domains:

1.) empty .tel domains
2.) .tel domains with the following statement:

This domain will be developed as soon Telnic allows to manage text and pictures.
.Tel was launched in 2009. In 2015 it's still not possible to add content.

That's a nice idea! Everyone who owns unused domains could at least state the obvious on it, because it's getting time that Telnic starts seeing what even a blind man can see!

Excellent move!

There is one big impediment for the success of .tel: Telnic!

The project was never based on developing .tel any further! Otherwise we would have seen such small improvements like picture management long time ago.

So Total Registrations were expected by now to exceed 19,898,906 as we are already in Year 6.

The REALITY is a figure of 132,953 according to http://registrarstats.com/TLDDomainCounts.aspx today which represents an achievement of just 0.67% ! or looked at another way a shortfall of 99.33% !

SO TELNIC IS DOWN OVER 99% ON THEIR OWN PROJECTED TOTAL REGISTRATIONS AND YET STILL DOESN'T BELIEVE THERE ARE FUNDAMENTAL .TEL PROBLEMS THAT NEED FIXING  !

You all have quite wrong ideas about Telnic. Telnic is a registry, not a developer of website templates. No other registry responsible for .com, .org or any other old or new domain extensions develops websites. If Telnic provides additional features for existing templates, it's only a sign of good will. After years of complaining you all should have learned already, that you won't be heard. Thus, you should stop demanding unrealistic requirements. They are always ignored - now and in the future! If you want things to improve, you should just stay silent.

Yes, that is what Telnic want us to do. Hence they can continue just as before by waiting until money runs out; and that unwatched and without any kind of stress!

Stupid comment! What a pity that .tel is the only extension impossible to build a website on (or anything else)!

When the time will come, and the current CEO of the company will be fired off or leave his job by one or another way, then - I am sure - all these nonsenses talked to us will come to the end. So, it is only the question of time.

It may be also, that they are very afraid now that ICANN will not renew the agreement with them. If that will happen then they will become nobody - and their company's value also will become equal to a zero.

And may be because of that they try to shut us down now.
