Work around for opening an application links/protocol.

    If your looking for a work around opening for an application link "Protocol", that aren't compatible with the .tel website location box similar to

    Quote:

    secondlife:///

    Quote:

    You can use a simple PHP with 301 and just link to the PHP page in the .tel.

    The one below I use for automatically opening a group, in the Virtual World client from clicking on the .tel link.

    Quote:

    header( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" );

    header( "Status: 301 Moved Permanently" );

    header( "Location: secondlife:///app/group/08b49faf-db82-b0c9-8889-e561ca029f92/about" );

    //exit(0);

    ?>

    I'm hoping to get the PHP in future to recognize the type of client/mobile/web/in world browser and give them an equivalent link that works with what ever they are using, if a standard protocol is not compatible.
