My.tel Aled, can we please have the my.tel application updated to at least be able to have our icons added. (In anycase, icons are broken currently on both iPad mini and iPhones) Henri promised this a VERY long time ago. It's a prominent part of our .tels Icons need to be added easily. Aled, the my.tel application is crashing whenever I try to view or update the reference to the icons. Firstly, the icons are no longer showing in the main icon view (next to the header text), and when clicking the contacts to update the contacts data, clicking on the icon reference crashes the app. Can we get this looked at by Henri please? |
I'm sorry to keep asking, but the my.tel tool has been an important tool for quick updates of our .tels. It's currently crashing with the icons not loading (which ALSO appears to slow down the loading of the assoiated heading text) Is this tool to be updated? |
Boracay, At the moment I can't recreate either issue that you are reporting. The logo is appearing and the contact items are loading. So that I can try to replicate further/understand, is this still happening for you on the iPhone and iPad? I assume both are on ios6? Are you accessing a .tel domain with a large number of populated folders? Do you get the same issue with a less populated domains? Thank you, Aled |
iPhone 5 iPad Mini ios6.0.1 Tested on both large and small populated tels. Same issues, logo not loading. Slow data retrieval of header text. touching logo contact data crashes app. Thank you for looking into this. Edit: also tested after upgrade to 6.0.2 on both devices. No difference to results above |
Thanks Boracay, is anyone else able to replicate this issue? Boracay, would it be possible for you to send us a crash log please? Crash logs contain information about what the app was doing just prior to the crash and as such would help greatly in identifying the cause. To find a log file, please sync your iPhone, iPod or iPad first, then locate the correct log file for the app using the path for your Operating System below. The log file’s name should start with the app’s name. OS X ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/ Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\ Windows Vista C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\ Once you’ve located the correct file, please email it back to us. As I've written, this crashes is on all my current idevices. I do not have a computer readily available to chase up these crashes. Hopefully somebody else can follow this up. Aled, can you please comment on when the my.tel app is going to be updated so that a reference to our icons can be made. Thank you. |
Boracay and Team... I attempted to replicate the Issue on my IPad Mini and could not replicate the issue. All seems to be working fine. Boracay, not sure if this will help, but I had to UPDATE the IOS for my IPad Mini, My Wife's IPad 2, and her IPhone 5 about 2 weeks ago. After doing this, you sometimes have to Remove and Reload the App. My.Tel is working on all devices. Thanks Dan Prather www.danprather.tel |

Men my idevises are the best ! I use Protube with ifile And safari download manager, mewseek, iwank, Little Winscp to drag some to the left, And some to the right ! Clone à bit My device is hit And run to my iphones harddisk :-) music, movies .ipa .deb you name it baby ! I was working on a friends old 3G still running on a iPad baseband Now i made it a mean running, little socmed machine !!! I Love Apple And i Love Telnic With all those updates from Apple its imposseble to let apps run without maintanence ! I dont now Homany upgrades mytel have head since the build But i must say, on my devices mytel is still running fine And The normal Control panel works just like a app on iPad, or even beter I have all my apps working always but somtimes i am searching for weaks :-) Los of apps are not 6.+ proof, But to mi it seems still okay!
