Trying to understand Data Privacy in Tel Domains I'm trying to control access to the data of my contacts. Our customers may contact our customer service center. This will depend on the amount they bought in the last 6 months. For example: A) If they purchased less than $ 100 will have attention by email cs@mycompany.com B) if they bought more than 100 and less than 1000 can see some phone call or email. C) If they comrparon over 1000 usd they can contact our customer service manager on his cell phone. I'm wanting to do this using the Data Privacy with api soa. Do you have any document of howto for operations like createGroup updateGroup deleteGroup getGroup listGroups createReader updateReader deleteReader getReader listReaders Thank you. Marco Slehiman |
Hi Marco, It's an interesting concept, thanks for sharing. Do let us know how you get along. To your points, the best area to start is the Developer's Manual (Privacy-related Operations) , the whitepaper on Privacy, as well as the TelFriends SOAP API reference for specific operations that you may have already discovered - also available in PDF form and with schemas. If you have in-depth technical questions, please write on the developer forum, or directly to us at dev@telnic.org. |
The requirement grows day by day Nadya Thanks for your response. The requirement now is a necessity. It is comprehensive and also wants to control the internal directory. But we wanted to integrate the authentication of our domain server (Windows Server). This would be for internal use only. Is this possible? Thank you MArco Slehiman |
Marco, I'm not sure I fullu understand the model you're trying to implement with a custom web server authenticating TelFriends for different levels of access. If you could provide more details and ask specific questions on where you have doubts, that'd be most helpful. Perhaps, you could write us an email and we'll try and come up with the best assistance we can provide. |
Hello Marco, first, a question: How are your customers accessing your .tel information? Via the web proxy, another website integration, or mobile apps? second, are you expecting to give each of your clients a TelFriends login, and put them in different groups? (A, B or C) |
