    It appears that the default via CTH is to apply Google Adsense either to none or to all subfolders...

    Is it possible via API to restrict Adsense to only some subfolders?

    I was thinking that it would be nice to remove Adsense for subfolders featuring client info.

    Yes you can do that only via SOAP calls.
