1.) Developing .tel software makes currently no sense, because we don't know how .tel will be used in the future.
2.) .tel will become a huge success in any case, because phone numbers belong into the DNS for future use cases.
3.) It's not a problem that .tel had not that great start as expected earlier, because it will take only more time to succeed.
4.) Two attempts to make .tel big failed so far (selling .tel through Telnic via registrars and approaching small businesses through Telnames). Now it's time to wait for other developments outside Telnic / Telnames.
5.) Future developments will need the DNS infrastructure of .tel to bring innovations to telecommunications.
