Telnic and Telnames have founded two new companies

Both incorporated on 2nd March 2015.

Guess who was appointed as director on 17th March 2015 for both companies: Mister Khashayar Mahdavi!

Looks as if Mister Cash is preparing the takeover of Telnic and Telnames by himself alone.
Or what else could this mean?

.tel is full of mysteries. What is going on here?

This looks like yet another cunning move by Telnic !

I just wish they would extend as much effort in promoting .TEL - difficult now of course as most staff have "jumped ship" - as they do to company restructuring given that Telnic has been entrusted with $35,000,000 of Other People's Money

Let's hope it's not too late for Kash to sell .TEL to a major internet player looking to buy up failing gTLDs

What sense does it make to incorporate two new companies when even the two old can't generate revenues?

I'm not so sure about that.
Mister Cash must have been aware about the financials of Telnic / Telnames as the first person.
I conclude that he has some funny ideas to rescue his own money as a shareholder of Telnic now.
No one could know what is going on in his head.
But this move looks really tricky once again.
It doesn't give a good impression to me, especially in combination with these earlier activities by Telnic:

.TEL Total Registrations are now down from a NOT THAT IMPRESSIVE 333,891 in March 2011 to a TOTALLY PATHETIC 121,617 today !

Telnic will do that when hell freezes over.
Currently, Mister Cash has another plan (by founding even more companies)!

Since Telnic has shown no interest at all in developing .tel during the last years, could it be that Mr. Cash is preparing the sale of .tel with these new companies?

The appointed Director for these 2 companies didn't last long (entries quoted below listed latest first) - not even 1 day !

These 2 companies are currently designated as "Non-Trading" - it's seems very likely they have been set up in preparation for a sale of the assets of Telnic Ltd. and/or it's 100% owned subsidiary Telnames Ltd.

What form this sale will take is anybody's guess - Management Buyout, Trade Sale, Voluntary Liquidation - who knows ?

Actually Kash knows - but he's keeping quiet as usual !

That's the tricky part: how long we have to wait until we get the information what's going on?
The 2 companies have been founded a half year ago already, but until today we don't know anything about the background of it.

Please consider two things:

1. Telnic has no cash anymore: http://www.teltalk.org/t1733-telnic-pulls-a-cunning-move
   
2. The .tel registry agreement will expire in May 2016: https://www.icann.org/resources/unthemed-pages/tel-agreement-2006-04-07-en
   

Hence Telnic is under compulsion to act.

Perhaps it's a new business model of Telnic: instead of selling domains, Kash just creates new companies.
