I own several .tel domains. The changes two weeks ago brought the following effects:

    • Domains are inserted randomly into Telhosting accounts.
    • I can't remember the randomly choosen user names.
    • I never know in what account what domains are stored.
    • If I forget a password for one of my Telhosting accounts, I have to reset the password for all accounts to gain access again.
    • The user names are not adjustable.
    • I can't transfer domains from one account to another.
    • It's not possible to increase or reduce the number of my different Telhosting accounts.
    • For most domains I haven't received my credentials until today.

What a mess! Could you please give us the possibility to clean this up?

One more problem is that reseted passwords are valid only for a few minutes. If you use old e-mails for password resets, they are useless.

One recommendation to solve this problem would be to drop all .tel domains, and buy them two years later with one order in bulk once again.

In this case, Telnic would probably generate one account for all .tel domains only.

Another advantage would be that you would save money meanwhile.

If you own so many .tel domains, why are you using Telhosting?

Just redirect your domains to another service.

    That's not entirely correct:

A new password is valid only one time.
If you use it to login, it won't work again.

Unfortunately, Telnic doesn't tell you that you have to change your password before you logout to be able to login again!

I agree that there needs to be a way of setting up new user accounts and enabling the transfer of domains between these but, to be fair, we were told to change the temporary passwords:

"6. When you log in please ensure that you change your password to something memorable as the temporary password that we provide you with can only be used once."

    @Blunderer

I doubt that all people with password issues will read this previous (very long) announcement.

@FrankW - I've  managed to get ALL my 80+ .TEL domains put into the a SINGLE Telhosting account by Telnic.

The secret is to use the SAME Username, eMail and Password when you fill out the details to request Telhosting for each domain at https://www.do.tel/signup/

A message will then display which says something like "Your eMail is associated with an existing Telhosting account - do you want to add this domain to it ?".

Works every time (though can be up to 24 hours until it gets added) - hope this helps !
