SEDO MLS is now available to sell .TEL domains !

Many experienced domainers use SEDO MLS (Multi Listing System) to sell their domain names.

This puts your aftermarket domain name immediately in front of buyers at Registrars around the world and offers immediate fulfilment ie. the domain is transferred to the buyer as soon as payment is made.

Here's the text I use in the SEDO description of my .TEL domains - please feel free to copy it if you wish !

From 13 March 2017 you have been able to set the .TEL Nameservers at your Registrar to any value you choose, meaning your .TEL domain will operate identically to .COM, .NET, etc.

The only difference with the easily-remembered .TEL extension is that currently it is substantially cheaper to buy than the equivalent .COM, .NET, etc.

That's the same process as for any other domain extension. What is your specific problem with it?

I checked resorts.tel on http://whois.nic.tel
There is no email address on it.

If you set TEL Whois Privacy setting as publish, it will be easy.
It's on Details Tab at name.com.

I have finished the Sedo MLS setup now.
and I understood what you mean.

If you want to self-verify the ownership of your domains,
You need to setup nameservers at name.com.
But if you change the default nameservers, you can't use Telnames template.

I think if you set your whois as public, you wouldn't need that process.
They say 'If you want to speed up the process of verifying your domains',
So it won't be necessary unless you are in a hurry.

Yes that’s what I mean. 
I simply wish to use the telnames template for all my .tels, and even for other tld’s I point them at .tels

Then, at the bottom, I say this domain is for sale at Sedo (or wherever those 5 or 6 sales channels are) msl mentioned by mike.

But feel it’s all too hard.
I’ll jus5 keep renewing until I can get easy help to lost my domains for sale.

redirect from other tld to .tel is easy.
You can use URL Forwarding.

problem is .tel to somewhere
I've just setup URL Forwarding on Name.com and Dynadot.com for test purpose.
Whois information has changed to their name servers.
But redirect is not working now.
It might take time, let's see how it goes.

if 7288.tel (name.com) or teltalk.tel (Dynadot.com) redirect to teltalk.org, then .tel URL Forwarding worked.
If not, and if you want,  I'll setup forwarding for you.

2. Add Nameservers one by one

Wait a few hours for the setting to take effect.

I've added further sales outlets for the domain Alloys.tel by listing it on the Afternic marketplace - see https://www.afternic.com/domain/alloys.tel

Afternic offer a similar "multi-listing" service to Sedo MLS - except that they don't offer instant transfer (Afternic call it "Fast Transfer") for the .TEL extension like they do for .COM etc.

There is also the issue that many of Afternic's multi-listing Registrars don't offer New .TEL Registrations and therefore don't carry Afternic's resale .TEL listings - though this comment also applies to Sedo MLS as well.

As more Registrars start to offer New .TEL Registrations (now they are free of the overhead of CTH setup and management, which of course is now optional and if required is done by Telnic/Telnames) we can expect to see a corresponding increase in .TEL resale listings at Registrars signed up to the multi-listing systems of Sedo and Afternic.

Listing Alloys.tel on the Afternic marketplace at https://www.afternic.com/domain/alloys.tel has automatically generated the following additional resale listings (there may well be more) at https://www.dynadot.com/domain/search.html?domain=alloys.tel and https://www.webnames.ca/domain-registration/search/?domain=alloys.tel

That information helped me a lot.

I learned SEDO MLS from you.
Since I set all my domains as Make Offer, I didn't know about MLS.
And this time it is Afternic, great!

I sold some .tel by private offer.
.tel is very special.
Actually, it's no longer special since 13th March.
But some of the registrar have not properly implemented it.

If buyer's registrar is not name.com nor dynadot.com,
it might be hard to transfer it.
I recommend to use push request.
I wouldn't use escrow.com anymore if buyer is not domainer.

So, this SEDO MLS and Afternic will make the solution easier.

now sedoparking is not working with .tel names....Usually my names attract lot of daily visitors. Now there is no parking page for .tel names. ....just checked my domain 33.tel, now the page redirecting to http://sedoparking.com/infopage/en/index.html

any reason?

I've just checked one of my .TELs parked at SEDO - AirportParking.tel - and it's redirecting the same as yours !

The best thing for you to do is file a Support Ticket at SEDO - then let this forum know what the outcome is.

I've decided to focus on building my own "Parking" pages (using the Telnames template) for .TELs I have for sale.

Here's a couple of examples I've created so far - Alloys.tel and Coins.tel - I will be adding a GoDaddy.com link to these once they start selling .TELs - which I've been told will be from Monday 7 August.
