DotTel Domains For Sale

I created this thread so there can be a central point where we can all list our .TEL domains for sale.

I want keep it simple - so just one domain listed per post please - and this to provide a link to the .TEL domain from where you can click through and purchase it.

One tip - make sure your Whois entry is set to "Public" not "Private" data - no sensible person will hand over money to buy a domain when the seller's identity is hidden !

@Rio - There is NO WAY TO PURCHASE the 3 .TEL Domains using the URLs you have posted above - Sedo Domain Parking is unfortunately not working for .TELs !

I would recommend the link you post either goes to a Telnames sales page e.g. http://Coins.tel (which then links to a purchase page)
- or alternatively post a link directly to a purchase page e.g. https://sedo.com/search/details/?domain=alloys.tel

I have Taxes.tel for sale on Sedo.com

I would like to get at least $1,000 for it.

GoDaddy appraisal say it's worth $1,272.

I own the name since 2010.


I emailed .tel and asked how to sell the name.  They told me about this community, so I just joined the other day.  :)

@Lulu - The first thing a potential domain buyer will do is key in the domain name that is for sale - in your case http://Taxes.tel

BUT that just takes them to http://sedoparking.com/infopage/en/index.html as Sedo Parking doesn't work with .TEL domains.

Two suggestions:

1. Set up a sales page for your domain using the FREE Telhosting that Telnames provides - see http://Coins.tel for an example of this.

2. Add a narrative Description to your Sedo page such as shown below as many potential domain buyers don't realise that .TELs can now operate exactly the same as any other extension.

From 13 March 2017 you have been able to set the .TEL Nameservers at your Registrar to any value you choose, meaning your .TEL domain will operate identically to .COM, .NET, etc.

The only difference with the easily-remembered .TEL extension is that currently it is substantially cheaper to buy than the equivalent .COM, .NET, etc.

@Lulu - Just follow the instructions at https://www.do.tel/signup/ to get Telhosting set up for your domain - once you've done this the updating of your .TEL domain using the Telhosting software is very intuitive.

I went to the App Store and got the .tel app.  It won't allow me to sign in.
It says Login Failure, "Error code MT-1002".  

I went to do.tel/signup/ and everything is grayed out.

I don't know what to do.  :(

I am having a terrible time with this.  

Why is everything "grayed out" on the do.tel/signup/ page?

As far as the .tel app for my phone - Are they asking for the User Name and Password that I got from .tel 10 years ago, when I bought the domain name?  I no longer have any idea what that would be.  If that's what they want, how do I find out what it is?  Can I email .tel and ask?

@Lulu - I've never tried using the .Tel app - I've accessed https://www.do.tel/signup from a desktop/laptop - it's worked OK when I've used it.

There is an email contact for support given on http://Telnames.tel - this is cservice@telnames.com - though please bear in mind that Telnames are very much a "Monday to Friday, 9 to 5" type of internet organisation !

It does work, so I hope you can get it sorted, using a desktop/laptop, contacting Telnames via email or phone (see http://Kash.tel for Office number) if necessary.
