$8,580.53 for a Telnames domain ?

Statistics can prove anything - but just realised that each Telnames .tel registered (IMO the only type of .tel with any future) has cost Telnic investors $8,580.53 i.e. $35,000,000 investment divided by the 4,079 Telnames .tels currently registered as shown by http://www.dottel.net

You can't calculate like this. Every business starts with investments for the future. Next year your amount will be only a fraction of it.
And if watching the registration numbers for Telnames, it's visible to see that there is a momentum. This is still small, but expected to increase as soon Telnames expands the activities to outside the UK.

I know that - as I said in my original post "Statistics can prove anything".

But you have to admit that nearly 4 years after .tel's launch there are only 4,079 registrations of the .tel format (i.e. Telnames) that has any future !

I think that Telnic/Telnames should urgently address this issue by sorting out a means of allowing Telnic subdomain .tel registrants to move over to the Telnames format.

Will Telnic/Telnames listen to this genuine and reasonable concern ?

And would that offer to move over be adverted to them as an upgrade or downgrade?, downgrade your dot tel to get more out of it....
