Finally Telnames is beginning to work well

73 new domains registered yesterday by Telnames. 284 last week.

It seems that finally the idea behind Telnames is taking off.

Maybe .tel could become the third Great Britain's domain, after .co.uk and .uk

Being a local and niche domain it could defend better from the arrival of new gTLDs.

From Telnic's point of view Telnames must has become a satisfying success by earning £1,800 registration fees daily.

73 new domains registered yesterday by Telnames. 284 last week must be jokin if you think this is good..it is in fact rubbish.

£1,800 per day is rubbish? Do you know what you are talking about? For some people it's a monthly salary!

£1,800 is rubbish at this rate, if the award winning Telnic or telnames they will have to get new office in Grimsby AND get their staff on part time not sure about any development stop all adverts on google and tv and all the shows but if you think £1,800 a day will cover all this

then thats amazing!

Being the future of .tel in a Great Britain limited regional deal, 73 new domains and 1800 £ a day is a good start.

And maybe, one day, Telnames will buy Telnic and its activities and Telnames will became the registrar and the single seller of .tels

It is rather a terrible dream, a nightmare.

Better lets hope in something good - for example, that something will change inside of Telnic.

Telnames is only the way for Telnic to reach critical mass for .tel. The vision (with the DNS) is much bigger, but it couldn’t be reached with Telnic alone so far. Luckily Telnic had this fantastic idea with Telnames.

If they would invented Telnames earlier, before their deal with TelChina, and would let TelChina resell only Telnames TELs, then they would had their part from those TelChina's $$. And that would be a good part of their income.

Now Telnic gets the whole cake from Telnames and not only a slice of it!

Not been around much pc broke I'm on a thin client via wince 5.0, anyway just wanted to mention http://www.trustatrader.com/ I have been listening to the radio a lot and hear them advertising their app, I guess it's crowd sourced reviews and ranking but maybe it's something telnames should partner with.


Like I asked before the "trust stamp icon, star or mark" which was supposed to be done by the registrar when relating to knowing who you're dealing with (aka valid details).

Which got folded into an icon which I didn't like it being done by an outside person but if they're going down that route I don't see a problem with pulling ranks off this trust a trader to display on a telname page as "customer approved".

More like we would end up with a link like before but would be nicer if it was part of the theme that shows like a star or a tick with a link behind it to reviews, not just using one of our allowance.

So anyway that sites for finding builders, plumbers and all that which is what telnames is for, small business who are mobile and don't have time to deal with big websites and just need the call asap for their next job.

Doing their radio station ads not the trust a trader ones but the regualr ones but might be an idea to hire him he has a great voice if it is him.
