.pw Domains: 250,000 domain registrations

Low prices and aggressive registrar promotion...

In June, two and a half months since the launch, Directi’s .pw Registry has taken over 250,000 domain registrations,  largely thanks to growth in China.

A lot of spammers bought and use these domains, but this is another matter...

you can't compare .pw and .tel
with .pw you have the full freedom to do what you want: building a nice mobile website or other things
.tel is only for beginners who don't know that nobody will ever visit their websites
and .tel is different than other domain extensions: if you find a registrant by accident, you have to ask for the highest registration fee possible, because one year after the domain will be dropped
sorry, I'm frustrated, because nobody could expect such terrible development (meaning NO development) for .tel back in 2009!

I don't understand the people here. Everyone is frustrated, but there is no reason for it. Why you don't see the situation like it is?

Telnic gave up .tel > Nobody is working for Telnic since long > The same will happen for the 10,000 domains at Telnames soon, too > .tel is breaking down > Drop you last .tels and be happy!

Did you see .tk ??? Impressive number of registrations.
