Just wondering if Teltalk Admin can copy the Telnic forum into this website as it is about to be deleted and there is a vast reservoir of knowledge on it.

You can copy using easily available free software and then this knowledge will not be deliberately lost by the f**kwits at Telnic.

If legal issues then just back it up and make it private with username and password from this (Teltalk) website.

Running out of time - will be deleted around the 5th of January by the f**ktards at Telnic.

Failing that you could ask the Teltards if you could put it into your forum.

Telnic continues with its strategy to do everything to destroy the .tel community.
The year 2015 starts with another stupid move:
The official forum was not accessible for the public for several years.
Today Telnic deleted all the valuable content with a large knowledge database collected during the years 2009 till 2014.
Several forum members complained about this step, but as known Telnic never takes customer wishes into consideration.
Several disadvantages come into effect immediately:
    • The community is losing help and the library to search for information about .tel.
    • Telnic is losing rich content for its website.
    • Telnic is losing even more trust (if trust for Telnic should still exist).
    • Users losing a great help database for daily situations and problems with .tel.
    • The .tel project is falling into meaninglessness.
Telnic doesn’t appreciate its community by deleting all its effort from 6 years of work!

The content of the old Telnic forum is too important for the .tel community.
It contains many instructions how to handle .tel domains and fundamental background information.
Because Telnic ignored the requests of several forum members and refused to save it, we have rescued all articles of it.

To ensure the privacy of forum members we have deleted all private data from it such as member profiles, personal comments and footer signatures.

You will find the old forum here: Telnic's official forum (closed on 14th January 2015)

TELTALK STEPS IN TO SAVE TELNIC FROM ITSELF !

@TelTalk - well done in saving Telnic from their misguided action in deleting all the .tel information held in their forum !

Not sure it's really necessary to make the copied data "login only" access - if you've got the right to copy and display it then I would imagine that right would extend to both logged-in members and non logged-in casual viewers (such as newbies) ?

Still a very good job done quickly - now we need a well-funded dynamic 24/7 type of organisation such as Afilias to take over the .Tel Project before it finally implodes as Telnic uses up the last of its $35,000,000 shareholder funding !

PS. I wonder how many "active" members Telnic's new forum will attract - with no existing threads/posts to view ?

This is the only permission we could get: http://www.teltalk.org/t3696-forum-migration

We will make the old forum available for the public as soon it's clear that no appeals would be made against it.
Until then only forum members will have access to it.

I don't understand the priorities of Telnic.
A forum is important in terms of communication with customers.
But in comparison product development is hundred times more important.
Why does Telnic not invest the time for it instead?
