There is no better way for data protection (much better than all other possibilities without a .tel).
The privacy settings in the control panel for .tel are very detailed. You can define groups and exclude every single contact entry.

Every celebrity would be happy about this attention. The promotional team could push the popularity even more. Many celebrities have become entrepreneurs these days and they like selling products, mostly fashion.
