@Sunrise - very good summary of the situation - though I would imagine the chance of getting any answers from Telnic/Telnames are absolutely zero.

I really don't believe anything will happen at Telnic/Telnames until the remaining employees realise that the money to pay salaries/expenses will in the not too distant future simply not be there !

We've all seen this situation before with companies - the smart employees get out early before the ship sinks - it's not easy to get a well paid job with a new employer when they know your current company is in trouble.

Interesting to note that two key players Henri Asseily and Justin Hayward have recently left - removing all references from their personal .tels of their time at Telnic/Telnames  in the process - I guess we should call them smart !

PS. I still hope a company like Afilias will buy out the .tel project, but the longer it's left the less likely this will happen - it all comes down to Kash in the end !

PPS. Didn't realise Justin was such a film star - as well as writing his book - how did he ever find time for his job at Telnic/Telnames ?

The longer such company will wait, the cheaper this company will be able to buy .tel. Meanwhile Telnic's company value is shrinking every day.

He took part in 11 movies (starting in 2012) and 13 music videos, television shows, commercials, comedies, musicals and theaters (starting in 1993). He was even busy as musical director and composer!

Smart guy: getting a full-time job paid at Telnic - and making his own business meanwhile!

In Eastern Europe, people who get such sinecure as our friend, usually share their salaries with boss of the company. Because of that in reality for their "full-time job" they get to their hands only a half or less - not full their salary. Another part of the salary they need to bring to the boss - in opposite case there is no reason for boss to keep in a company such "employees".

Of course, in Eastern Europe this is possible only in a state-run companies. And, of course, I do not know how popular this scheme could be in England.

Looks like we need to add a further name to the list of "smart" employees of Telnic/Telnames - that of Aled Williams.

Check out Aled's two .tel domains at Aled.tel and AledW.tel and you will see he is no longer in charge of Telnic/Telnames Support - a job which in my experience he did well - but is now working as a Business Analyst, Principality Building Society.

Let's hope current .tel registrants don't require Aled's support skills - I can't imagine any IT person in their right mind joining Telnic/Telnames at this stage of the downward spiral !

Maybe Huw Stead will be next to go  ?

Interesting comment on his personal .tel at Huw.tel that says "Currently working in South Wales" - given that Telnic/Telnames is based in London !

Yes, we could expect a little more accuracy form the wife of Telnic's engineering director!
