How great is the danger that a TLD like .tel with only about 100,000 registered domains will be closed?

High because .tel is the most useless domain out of all of the current domain extensions. Why? Because all the other extensions have no content limitations. So the one to collapse should logically be .tel.

Failed entrepreneur and company wrecker Kash Mahdavi is responsible because he didn't develop out the Telhosting Panel to allow normal content to be displayed on a .tel.

.tel once had more than 330,000 domains. The last 100,000 can also easily disappear.

I believe we are the victims of an elaborate con job. All the funds that should have been used to develop were paid out in fees/salaries to the promoters of the extension. They, I believe, never intended for the extension to be successful. They just wanted the cash which was raised at the beginning while giving lip service to the concept of development.

The extension may still be sold when the company is forced into liquidation as a result of insolvency. There is that one small hope.

So, Telnic was very smart during the last 15 years by collecting much money for nothing!
