This doesn't seem to
be a big thing.

There is still a long
road to walk until
Telnic realize they
have to consider
their customers
wishes.

Until then registrations
will continue to drop a
lot.

One day big drops will sometimes occur - the important thing is to look at the long-term trend to identify if Telnic are capturing, and maintaining, the interest in .tel domains.

-5,465 .tel domains in one day!

More than 5,000 drops in one day only is a big number even for .tel.

Maybe I should have said "two" days not "one".

I have just checked http://www.dottel.net and the figure is indeed a huge drop to 254,214 with Telnames domains accounting for 2,142 of this total.

I could list all the things Telnic could do to reverse this incessant decline, but I won't, since the last 2 years of suggestions by myself and other experienced internet marketers have been totally ignored !

So I will just ask one thing:

Telnic are a disaster.

Telnic's strategy is very strange and for other people not to understand.
Probably they just think everything can be accomplished without a lot of work.
But anyway even we are moving slowly, we are moving forward.
We have waited for a website design for three years and got it with Telnames.
Now we have to wait again for delivery to all customers.
In addition we have to wait for more features urgently needed.
And last but not least we have to wait for reasonable marketing.
Telnames is a good start and as soon Telnic make serious effort, .tel should start growing.
In a few years Telnic should be ready for that.

Today goes better.

But we got 28 (!) registrations all together yesterday. That will help to balance it.

Don't worry; registration numbers on weekends has been always low.
Small businesses register domains weekdays.
Those are the new customers for Telnames.
The drops are coming only from speculators losing their patience.
Good to let them go!

It is only logical Telnames can’t push registration numbers yet, because most people identify .tel only with Telnic and due to small amount of marketing Telnames is unknown until today.

New negative record yesterday: only 16 new .tels!

Why should I be interested in the daily drops? The new registrations at Telnames are the danger for more success!
