To most companies it don't matter who refers customers to them, as 99% of peoples ads purchased through Google end up on shady sites but as long as it makes a sale that's all that matters that and of course that you're reaching the demographic you're catering for, weather or not they're on a site you would not normally want to be associated with etc.
I'm starting to draw parallels between 2 companies I know, telnic and daz3d of which at daz when the investors had too much say it became a cut throat place with similar policies that telnic/telnames now has.
Profit driven with less regard for maintaining older customer/client connections that didn't listen to what they believed was needed to be done and still wanted/expected X Y Z, so I think the issue now is not with the boss of telnic/telnames but those who invested 15mill? and who at any cost want it back?
But being sour at us and what we say online about their product can only deteriorate us into more complaining, and as stated in other threads people who are still using the telnic forums don't speak out because they're afraid of loosing their tel service, so in all respect would it not be better for them to have bitten the bullet and let some of us (not me) have access to re-sell thus making sure people are more docile?
Because the alternative as stated above just makes more google search url mess for customers to dig through.
