I like the background image on http://localtrades.tel and clever use of mixing Telnames and Telnic .tels.
But there is one problem to mass acceptance of Local Trades - and that's http://www.checkatrade.com (mobile site is http://m.checkatrade.com) !
Still I wish LocalTrades every success in its venture.

Localtrades.tel beats the other side because is simple to use,
you don't need a special mobile site, you don't need a web developer to do it and is very inexpensive to build and operate
If both sites list on their respective sites local tradesmen and charge for it your .com site wouldn't stand a chance to
compete
