Google Verification Made Easy.... Aled/Henri - Any chance of looking into switching to use the google analytics asynchronous tracking code vs the legacy code currently used? Why? It would allow tel owners to verify their tel domains by linking to their google analytics accounts and not require the addition of ugly and visible verification codes in the content of the tel page. More details here: http://support.google.com/googleanal...&answer=161379 It's a relatively small and simple change to the proxy code. Thanks! |
It's a great suggestion. We'll look into it. Thanks, Aled |
thanks - hopefully this one can be pushed through vs making it onto the dreaded roadmap pile. quick and simple fix would make tel owners lives alot easier. Cheers! |
Hi Aled - any update on this? Is it planned anytime soon? Would make the all important whole domain management side so much easier and cleaner for all |
Hi, Yes, this was planned to be included in last week's release, but there was an issue at the last minute so we didn't want that to affect the release of the new templates. We're looking at getting it updated as soon as we can. Thanks, Aled |
Thanks Aled - great to see it being accelerated through the pipeline. I'm sure many will appreciate this. |
Hi Aled, Any update on this please? |

Blunderer, we made this change to use the asynchronous tracking code towards the end of last year. Many apologies that I didn't announce it on here. Thanks, Aled |
Ah! OK. So if we're set up for Analytics then that's it sorted? |
If you are set up for Analytics then you can use that to verify your name with Google. |
