Based on past experience I don't feel we can rely on Telnic to promote NEW .TEL which launches on 13 March - it's up to us to do all we can to let the world know about the 2 options becoming available i.e.:
1. Telnames-style single contact page with web hosting and maintenance software included in the registration price.
2. "Normal DNS" leading to various outcomes e.g:
- 2a. A conventional web site.
- 2b. A package offering from Mark, Shahid, etc.
- 2c. A redirect to another domain (say keyword.tel redirecting to John Smith's Business site).
- 2d. A parking page such as that offered by Sedo, etc.
If you have social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, etc., it would be worthwhile giving NEW .TEL a plug to help get the message out - here's a tweet i have just posted - https://twitter.com/mikeseaton/status/839244643694968832
