This probably won't happen, because the office rent is only a very small part of Telnic's expenses.
In addition Telnic needs very little office space after most employees resigned.

Very funny! But in my experience these kind of entrepreneurs are very litigious so I would be careful about making any statements about fraud and such unless you have your facts correct and provable and say a few hundred thousand pounds set aside for legal fees.

Poking fun is one thing but accusations of criminal behaviour are a whole different ball game and you should be very careful.

I'm not a legal expert, but I would like to know if Telnic's action is still legal.

I've just logged-in and am reading the latest posts about the Telnic situation.

I have today checked the official Companies House web site which states:

It appears that Telnic have not used the legal loophole to extend their accounts due date for a 4th time (the 1st time was of course quite normal - the 2nd & 3rd were most definitely not)  unless there's been a late updating of the CH web site.

So tomorrow (18 March 2015) the 2013 accounts should be in Companies House possession.

My guess is that they will not be - remember Telnic's auditors resigned some months ago - no way of knowing why or if they were replaced ?

It's possible that Calder & Co. could be Administrators (who would be allowed by Companies House to extend the accounts due date yet again) or there may be some other explanation ?

It's been obvious this day has been coming for a long time - now it's time for forum members to find out as much as possible about what is going on and encourage ICANN to get involved to sort out a successor to take over the .tel project - if one can be found !

When a credible successor to Telnic is found we all need to give them the maximum support possible !

THE .TEL IDEA IS STILL VERY GOOD - THE IMPLEMENTATION BY TELNIC HAS BEEN A DISASTER !

Remember a "Registered Office" (as officially recorded at Companies House) is not always a trading address - it's where legal documents have to be served.

We can all count and know already that Telnic's finances are depleted. What else Telnic has to hide?

This latest change in Accounting Reference Date seems to have backfired on both Telnic Ltd. and Telnames Ltd.

The much-delayed accounts due date was set to 18 March 2015 (ie. yesterday)  but I have just gone into the official Companies House web site at http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk//wcframe?name=accessCompanyInfo and checked the new accounts due date. Here is the situation now specified by Companies House.

So following Telnic/Telnames latest move to prevent interested parties from viewing their 2013 accounts the net result is the new accounts due date set by Companies House is 30 April 2014 ie. nearly 11 months overdue !

Hefty fines can result - payable by Directors personally and also Companies corporately - when a company is so late with filing their accounts !

Maybe Companies House have had enough of this Telnic/Telnames farce ?

It's a very serious matter:

Failure to file annual returns or accounts is a criminal offence which can result in directors being fined personally in the criminal courts.

The registrar may also take steps to strike the company off the public record if these documents are delivered late.

How can the management of a $35 million company do such a messy thing?
