    Hi Aled,

One of my client has the character "&" in his email address. However when entering it on CTH, it says invalid character. How can we work around this issue?

    thanks

Even though technically & is allowed within an email address, many validation checks etc don't allow this and worse yet the html mailto: protocol has & as a reserved character used to add additional terms for setting the subject, etc

dottel.net has hit the nail on the head there - there are issues with the mailto that is used to launch the email and also many mail servers have an issue with the character existing in email addresses, so we don't accept email addresses with the & character.

    Thank! I thought so...

    Be well.
