I was just following the trend when drawing the line (starting today).
If Telnic continues with the current strategy, I don't know how this trend could be stopped.
Welcome to the objective forum for .tel domains! Read it first when anything is happening with .tel!
IMO they won't develop the Telnic subdomain .tel format any more !Toptel wrote:I don’t think the future will be that bad. Some beginners will always fall for .tel.
It’s more likely registrations will fall to 100,000 and will stagnate there.
And a lot of potential for .tel has never been used.
What if Telnic decides to start developing .tel? They have never done this so far.
If Telnic takes the job seriously in the future, it could change everything.
I'm not worried about this. Everyone learns from mistakes; some faster - and others later.mikeseaton wrote:If you read the statements made over the last year or so by the Chief Technology Officer of both Telnic and Telnames - Henri Asseily - it's pretty clear that he sees the future of .tel as a SINGLE-PAGE SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT domain as shown by the Telnames example http://YourBusiness.tel
