Do you have a plan to find a solution for this daily situation?

I'm a normal person and I'm in a city. Suddenly I have the urge to visit a doctor here. (You can replace "doctor" with any other service or business.)
I pull my smartphone out of your pocket and want to search for a doctor now.
What can I do to find the Telname of one? (I assume that a normal person does not know Telpages.)

Honestly I don't have any idea!

The problem is actually worse than you describe - since Joe Public (at least in the UK) doesn't know about the existence of .TEL - never mind TelPages !

Here's the UK Directory I use to find "Recommended & Trusted Tradesmen"
    - http://www.checkatrade.com - mobile site is at http://m.checkatrade.com

PS. Here's the TelTalk thread about the missing Tel Global Directory
