Java is a commonly used, class-based language used in programming and web development. An outstanding feature of the programming language is its universal character, meaning that there is no need to recompile the code while running on different platforms. Like for any website for lamp, Java provide the ground for application software development, applying it to the cross-platform environment. Rarely, Java applications run on desktop computers to perform several secure functions. About numerous Java-based solutions read more here. When implementing a Java-based code, it is usually produced as a Java bytecode which stands for a kind of instruction carried out by the Java virtual machine. As for 2012, Java is the one of the most widely used languages developed for client-server applications. On the Iflexion website you can find information about various Java-based solutions for businesses of various sizes.
Originally, the Java language project was launched by the Canadian developer and computer scientist, James Gossling, who meant it for interactive television. However, the newly developed language was too progressive and advanced for cable television, therefore it was decided to convert it into a language with the style of notation similar to C and C++. In 1995, on the official website of Sun Microsystems, there appeared the first version of the Java project. The largest web browsers got smarter, and soon Java applets were available within numerous web pages you can read more here.

In 2006, Java was officially announced free open source software. After that, all Java-based codes became available under common public conditions. The company gained much profit through selling product licenses to small and large enterprises. On the Iflexion website you can get full-scale information about how internet-based applications are built in a great deal of domains, including e-commerce, ads rotating networks, online digital repositories and storage management systems. You can read more here.  Although Java software is a cross-platform system, the virtual machine code is not. Unlike, when you deal with any website for lamp, every operating platform features its own virtual machine. Nowadays Java is being run on thousands of computers, mobile phones across the globe.
