1. TLD change
The TLD .tel will be renamed into .kindergarten.
All registrants can keep their domains, but those will be reachable only with domain.kindergarten. The old names in the old structure domain.tel will be no longer in demand and can’t be used after 2013 anymore.
2. Domain content
After the two last projects for Telnic and Telnames haven’t succeeded, contact information won’t be supported anymore.
In the future every registrant will have the full freedom to do with his domain whatever he likes, but with the following two exceptions:
a. No insertion of contact data
b. No hosting of websites
3. Support
The websites Telnic.org and Telnames.com won’t be continued. These will be dropped.
Service will be only provided through phone.
4. Registration fees
A new price scale will replace the old registration fees.
The credibility of every registrant will be evaluated individually and the prices will be defined by the registry for every registrant differently.
Registrants with user names like Expert or Sunrise have to pay much higher registration fees than registrants with user names which have never been appeared before.
5. Renewals
The allowance to drop domains will be canceled.
If someone has registered a domain, he is obligated to pay the renewal fees for the next 50 years.
Should the registrant decease before the end of this period, the inheritor will take over this responsibility.
