As said before by me and others it needs a flash developer system aka like facebook allows embedded apps so people can develop applications and games for it and telnic can review if they'll allow it embedded or not.

Though flash is not supported on Iphone right? and if you've not noticed that's all telnic/telnames really care about vs marketing, when was the last time we had any android pad or phone on their marketing? eh?

I have a generic android pad and can run all great apps but cant run telnames/telnic apps, thus I propose that the market telnic/telnames wanted was and is the market that is categorised as dumb sheep that follow and buy anything due to it being Cool, No offence that's what the market has categorised you as and are ignorant/negligent of any other market by throwing them the odd bone that might or might not work on their device.

If flash is such a problem, then why cant we have a html 5 developer box? where html 5 is restricted to that embedded box window that might be supported by all mobiles? so people can develop things that are not just pulling data from the DNS.

    www.html5gamedevelopment.com

Imagine for small apps all we had to do was store a code in the DNS?

I don't know why I bother I'm just going to sit tight and watch this plough itself into the sewers.

This is why the tel domain needs to be split from the DNS part, they're hogging a system we can use to build and serve great apps by sticking it on a tel domain that does nothing what so ever for anyone. I think that's brilliant if there intention was to get the patents for the DNS tech and hold onto them to sell later. Otherwise I think they're being a bag of dicks about the whole thing.

Those are 10 very good reasons not to own an OLD .tel, there is no reasonable explanation for owning that, however ...

There is a very good reason to own a Telname.

    www.anzfordcars.tel
    vs.
    www.yell.com/ucs/UcsSearchAction.do?keywords=anzford+cars&location=somerset&scrambleSeed=808193465&autocomplete=cnlo

Millions of People and Businesses want basic profile information, viewable in a place where visitors can quickly and easily find and compare similar products and services, and without going through thousands of websites in the Google garbage.

This is of course why the Yellow Pages and the like will never die.  It takes Google garbage, strips out the junk, gives the basic information people need quickly and easily, and allows them to view the websites that matter on the viewers' terms.

Telnames is CLEARLY the better profile, all they are missing is their own directory.

There IS a reason to own a .tel as a Telname, a better listing.

There IS NO reason to own a .tel as a Telname without a reasonable, promoted directory.

They can promote themselves as an all-in-one website across all devices forever and most people will just laugh, because they are making the same comparison of a website that you are above, .tel is a joke as a website, and GOLD as a listing.

When Telnames has a functional directory, it beats Google and the Yellow Pages as a search engine for basic information.

    Until then ....

I would like .tel domains if it wouldn't be forbidden to develop them.

You don't develop listings, you populate them.

There are now billions of any.othertlds for personal development choices.

.tel is a listing, populate yours with legitimate profile information and your .tel is developed.

Visitors will never look for more on a .tel page, and shouldn't, because one thing you get with a Telnames is consistency in development, the ONLY one you can count on for consistency.

Now about that directory to find them .... hmmm.

Yes, they have succeeded in producing something that no one wants.

    As is, that's a fact.

With a directory, they will succeed in producing something that millions of people want every day.

Guess they simply don't want success!

They should probably realize that a successful failure is still a success, so maybe they should try for a successful success now.
