Telnic hasn't understood anything! Instead of developing one proper template (like the one at Telnames), now Telnic tries to repair the eight broken templates which still can't compete with the real world. Telnic is producing for the trash can!

They are complete dolts who have abused the initial faith we placed in them. With 10 hours a month coding the product will be a complete failure for the foreseeable future. End of story.
There is no other product being offered to the market which is more than 15-odd years out of date. Imagine if Weebly or Sitesell offered a product like this - they would be laughed out of existence pronto.

Telnic made it very clear that Telnic won't develop more templates in the future.
Telnic is waiting for TelHosting providers to do this job:

After the launch of .tel in March 2009, so far Telnic has zero TelHosting providers!

Where are the incentives to become a .tel hosting provider? Why should any company develop anything for .tel? Even Telnic isn't developing anything!

You have to understand the point of view from Telnic: It developed a new invention (contact data storage in the DNS), but it doesn't see the service as more than a registry that administrates the registration of domains.
Telnic sees the burden of developing the product at other companies who are interested in selling something new and different. Unfortunately these companies don’t exist until today (and Telnic doesn't do anything to create interest for other participants). That's the reason why .tel doesn't get developed.
Of course early adopters are angry about it, especially if they compare the results with the created expectations by Telnic that have never become reality.
