Welcome Ian Bowen-Morris as Chief Marketing Officer.

Welcome Ian to your new role as Chief Marketing Officer. Good to see Justin and co. get some support and hopefully some fresh new blood into the mix.

It would be great to see you post some of your thoughts as to where the ship may be heading. The obvious connection to directories seems at the top of the list but for those domain owners not specifically targeting directories, some insights would be welcomed,

    Cheers,

How did you find out? did I miss an announcement? Welcome to the party Ian, new employees are a good thing it means .tel is making enough money to support them.

And especially in this climate when looking for work it's good to see a company hiring, it gives people hope that others company's might as well.

a load of press releases through the usual networks went out this morning... interesting and good move by Telnic.

    Hi Bunjie

I didn't see any press releases either!

Since .Tel owners have pumped in so much money, I kind of feel an Official post on the Forum should be in order? or is it a case of being the last to know?

Would be nice if we can get a forum post, a pin for the day!, and perhaps merge these reply's under the new post?

Well it's definitely a great thing to have someone who knows the previous version of the industry, coming into a job that helps expand the future of the business listings type industry.

It makes me guess Telnic are going to focus more on taking that business market share. It does seem to make sense to go that way and hopefully we will see Ian be able to market it to bigger companies.

If you do please consider telling Linden Labs, I have been trying for months to get them to pick up certain domains that they need for their new version of product, mobile iPhone app version.

As I use Second Life I know they need it, of course they don't yet , I have submitted Jiras, contacted Lindens even sent the visionary creator a note with it, but it needs the corporate professional touch to get though to them.[/size]

    Welcome Ian.
Let's get on with the job at hand.
