    Google Analytics help

    Can't seem to find list of actual voice events on my Google analytics pages anymore, have they moved or stopped being shown. Have looked everywhere, I think. Interesting fact though, 75 different mobile devices used taxinumbers.tel last month.

    @dialaroom

    I find list of phone numbers here:

    Content > Events > Top Events > Click on Voice

    Great to hear about mobile users. I can report a significant rise in mobile use also.

    Thanks toni, don't know how I missed it this month, tried every other combination. I use it to tell the top subscribers how many calls they've had each month. Some are getting over 35 calls a month from taxinumbers.tel.

    Just wish there was an easy way I could get the message out to other UK taxidrivers.

    Still don't understand how Google is able to track phone calls. Anyone know?

    I'm not a modern programmer and don't understand it either, thought it was just a simple url click counting script, found a bit of an explanation here.[/size]

    I did find it in an article:

    Tracking phone calls as goals in Google Analytics
    When a phone call is made the code executes a virtual pageview in Google Analytics and attributes it to the user's data so that the entry source and activity on site can be combined with the phone call.

    The virtual pageview is also labelled with call pass or call fail so that you can identify which visitors to your site actually count as leads and which ones do not. It is also beneficial to include goal values for calls so that you can attribute a monetary return with the data.
