hCard microformats

It would be great if data output by the .tel pages could be formatted to fit into the hCard microformat standard.

http://microformats.org/wiki/hcard
Quote:

hCard is a simple, open, distributed format for representing people, companies, organizations, and places, using a 1:1 representation of vCard (RFC2426) properties and values in semantic HTML or XHTML. hCard is one of several open microformat standards suitable for embedding in HTML, XHTML, Atom, RSS, and arbitrary XML.

As .tel is trying to promote itself as a type of contact information container it would be nice if you output microformat compatible data in your pages.

Adding the hcard tags inside the telproxy template html is in the plans.

That's very good to hear. Is there a schedule of any sort that would let us know when that might be planned?

This is what we can see http://www.telnic.org/community-roadmap.html (as of now).
I hope telnic would update the proposed dates or something like that:)

Thanks for that link. It doesn't mention the addition of support for the hCard microformat standard, so I agree an update would be in order (with target dates would be even better ).
