.Tel me now As you all know,(sorry, will know) I'm building a UK accommodation communication directory, dialaroom.tel, (its a little tricky as there are only 3000 folders available with 100 records each) and I need at least 15,000 folders, some of which need 200 records. However, I'm still going to build it, I'm also working on an android app. and an iPhone app. that, if opted in, utilises GPS from your enabled mobile phone,or other device. Takes your co-ordinates, searches dialaroom.tel and opens the page of the nearest acommodation. The idea came from googles US "Near me now", I mentioned inhttp://www.telnic.org/forum/showthre...=4438#post4438. So the dream is, you're in the UK in a city, town, village, or in the middle of nowhere, You open the dialaroom app. hit search, or the "Tel me now" button, and up pops the nearest accommodation to where you are. |
. Just tell dialaroom.tel, where you are (looking for a room). Provide a search box, or a link to a search box, where anybody can find any room for a nice stay. As you are feeding your directory with available rooms, searchers could only retrieve the availabel info. Search and find, and be happy. . A system with GPS search possibilities, might be a further step and a addition. If you need more than 3000 subdomain folders, you will have to host dialaroom at your prefered registrar: No limits, anymore. Dial a room, and take off... "Rrrrrr...wummm.....!"... Oh: Electric cars, will be silent. Its only the ones we have now, that make that sound... But more silent rooms, are good, too. And you'll be able to escape, without making any noise. . . |

Thanks Howard, I'm sure your doing all you can to help us poor .tel dreamers. Am just finishing a flash video for dialaroom, featuring a guy in a bowler hat, looking for a room using dialaroom, sort of loosely based him on how I imagine you guys, he's affectionately known as Howard. Will post a link when done. |

Thanks again Howard, I'm sure you're right, emailed dotster and offered a bribe to increase my max folders, haven't heard from them, or the police yet. |

Hi there, and welcome. How are you doing? Busy with dialaroom.tel? - You could create another folder (= subdomain): greenrooms.dialaroom.tel or greenhotels.dialaroom.tel etc., etc. Stay warm, in whatever room you are... Loads of snow out here... I'll stay in my room, tomorrow... And I shall dial another room, when the snow has been cleared off the roads... . Every service will be only a click away, in future... . . |
