    Google - You are here

    It would be nice to have your .tel integrate w/Google in a way that when accessing the page from mobile it will locate your approximate location. If you are looking for local numbers in your area this feature would get the information based on your location instead of a whole list which could be endless. I guess this would also involve both mobile development (iphone/android/etc) and a wrapper or hook to telnic. I know Android has an app called "Where", maybe telnic could find a way to implement that into .tels

    Btw, I came across a new site call SlingPing.com ... The site has not fully launched yet but within the next few weeks or so. It was interesting to see what they are planning to do via mobile. Hopefully the .tel develops more and better ways for mobile use.

    Google can already retrieve your location from your .tel if you've published it.
    In the near future we'll add an automatic geoloc meta tag to make it even more obvious.

    It would be nice to have this option under condition that you can disable it in case of need.[/size]

    Disable == don't publish.
