    calls from gmail

Interesting push now when you log-in to gmail:
    https://www.google.com/mail/help/ima...hone_login.jpg
Would be great to integrate tel-mail with gmail, or have the one id that checks mail and gets calls.

I think it would be great if google supported calling .tels.

    Here's the sales pitch:
"Call anywhere in the US and Canada for free and get low rates for other countries with this small plugin — right from within Gmail."

    Here's the link:

Justin/Ian - can we have a response from Telnic on this - do you see this impacting on Dot Tel? - is there an opportunity for a deal with Google?

    Thanks.

The 'click to call' is a similar approach the digitrad was taking initially with yes.tel.
The ability to 'free dial' within a .tel domain when applied to sms could be very appealing, for instance.
Imagine unlimited sms / voting or whichever text was employed within a 'channel' which .tel could represent.

I believe many hold the perspective of .Tel being hampered by lack of a major player in their pocket.

No Google, or Verizon, or AT&T, etc has officially adopted .Tel as a standard to support last I checked.

Has anything changed, do we .Tel'ers care about this?

    I don't know!

I'm still waiting to see any sign of .Tel in NYC (bus, taxicab, local paper) nada to date.

That was my "1 Dot Tel Wish" at http://telnic.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1388 - there were a lot of interesting wishes from across the world in this thread.
