    Telnames Domains not Locked ?

If you do a Whois check on a .tel domain it can show one of 2 statuses:

Locked - shows as "Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited"

Unlocked - shows as "Domain Status: ok"

All Telnames domains appear to be Unlocked - here's the Whois on my Telnames domain http://easywhois.com/?domain=chicagousa.tel

I can't find anywhere in the Telnames Account Control Panel where you can lock/unlock domains.

Does anybody with a Telnames domain know how to do this ?

PS. Even Kash hasn't got a locked domain - see http://easywhois.com/?domain=kash.tel

I thought it was a legal requirement by ICANN that all registrars had to have a procedure in place to allow transfers away to another registrar ?

I know Telnames is not actually a registrar, but the same must surely apply to organisations that take registration fees and then use a registrar to perform the necessary functions ?

The registrar that Telnames uses is a major player (claiming to be No 2 in Europe) - see http://www.key-systems.net/businessareas/?lang=en
