    Browsers not remembering passwords?

Does your control panel specifically disallow browser clients from remembering the login information? I only seem to have this issue with PHPMyAdmin and Telhosting both of which force log me out.

It just refuses to remember the login which really annoys me when I get logged out and have to scramble to find the password data.

I would like the option to not be logged out for a length of time (24 hours+), and for browsers to remember my password for me if I do get logged out, so I can work quicker it's a major hindrance to keep searching for that password.

As most times the browser sits idle and open while I'm working in another window, and by the time I come back to it I have either been forced out or need to specifically touch something so it resets your clock.

It's repetitive and annoying, makes me feel like I have OCD.

And if I'm storing it in an unencrypted text file on my computer anyway, why not allow it to be stored in my browser? I'm sure it's much safer burred in the browser password storage than on my computer.

    Bunjie,

Thank you for your feedback. As you understand, the control panel doesn't store password cookies for security reasons. The fact you then store your password locally in an unprotected way is irrelevant here.

That said, an explicit "Remember me" tickbox would be useful on the login screen, agreed. I have passed this on to our engineering team.
