    Google Apps (email) integration

Any chance you can liaise with the google people concerning their verification process for subdomains? Currently it is impossible to enable anything other than a top level domain, i.e. agent@sales.company.tel cannot be configured.

They need to be aware that it is not possible for us to create CNAME records that point to "google.com", in order to verify domain ownership.

What are the requirements for the registrar, i.e. directi, enom, etc., to be able to host email seamlessly?
If enough of us .tel guys grouped under someone like name.com and established via our numbers the additionally required services/servers/apps.. whatever we could more control, wouldn't it be worth a) determine what the needs of the registrar would be b) justify the expense/effort via enough commitment to move domains to them c) build on this new platform - add apps, bells and whistles, as are more easily controlled this way.

    Is this a possibility?

I know that so far the name.com interface is pretty easy.
I know that desklance has been in talks with directi for adding services to their platform.
    Either would seem suitable.
