    .tel Fax Link

There appears to be a bug in the Fax link on http://Telnic.tel - or is it meant to be non-clickable on the grounds that most fax machines in use (excluding e-faxing services of course) do not access the internet ?

Try clicking the Phone link and it works ok - the href code is "callto:+442074676450".

Try clicking the Fax link and nothing happens - the code (not href) is "+442074676451".

Even if the Fax link is not meant to be clickable, it is confusing to users when all other rectangular boxes are clickable !

Mike - it's always been this way as there is no clickable action which will apply to the majority of fax machines. What would you expect to happen if you clicked the record? It is consistent with other contact records for which no action applies such as Note and Username.

I've updated the title as this is not a bug but the way the fax link has always worked.

Aled, if it was an intelligent fax machine - or an e-faxing service - where internet access is present so a .tel can be called up - I would expect clicking on it to dial the fax number.

It just appears inconsistent with the other icon-designated rectangular blocks which users can click - unlike the "Note" box where it is obvious it can't be clicked.

Maybe non-clickable icon-designated rectangular boxes should somehow be made clear they can't be clicked - users can get confused if the same style of display (i.e. rectangular box) can sometime be clicked and sometimes not - normally of course clickable links are underlined so everything is perfectly clear regarding "clickability".
